Community Marketing & Communications Specialist (Work-Study Position)

Pay: $11/hr

Hours: 19 hr/wk, mostly scheduled between 8am-5pm, M-F

The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Resource Center (LGBT RC) is seeking a student who is highly motivated and enthusiastic about LGBTQIA+ issues on campus. As a work-study position, this student staff will assist with LGBT RC communication initiatives, including creating event graphics and posters, creation and management of our newsletter, developing engaging social media content, and representing our office at outreach events. In addition to these duties, student staff give support in planning and coordinating community events, assist in-office maintenance, lead in fostering a welcoming environment for students and visitors in the center, and help connect students to resources and support. In addition to these duties, student staff lead in fostering a welcoming environment for students and visitors in the center, represent our office at outreach events, assist in-office maintenance, and help connect students to resources and support.
