The CyberCenter includes 4 modern, internet ready, IBM computers and a laser jet printer. All these were made possible by a generous grant of $15,000 from the David Bohnett Foundation. These computers, housed in the safety of the LGBT Resource Center, allow individuals that are (or support those who are) gay, lesbian, bisexual, queer, intersex, or transgender to develop themselves and research important issues of gender identity and sexual orientation in an accepting, comfortable environment.
David Bohnett founded the popular GeoCities in 1994. This site was later acquired by Yahoo Inc. With his success, David Bohnett has contributed to the arts, AIDS research, LGBT activism, and other worthwhile causes. He chairs the David Bohnett Foundation that supplied the CyberCenter grant.
